Frederick Taylor - aka Squire Frederick - is the officil Town Crier for Annapolis.

Mayor Ellen Moyer announced Squire Frederick's initial appointment as the Annapolis Town Crier by letter on May 24, 2006. She wrote: "As crier, you will especially be called on over the next three years to announce to one and all the ensuing celebration of Annapolis Charter 300, commemorating our City's rich history in the struggles for liberty and civil rights for all citizens." After the end of his initial two-year appointment as the Annapolis Town Crier, Squie Frederick was gien an indefinite appointment as the Annapolis Town Crier.

These are some of the things we discussed in this week's episode:

Who is Fred Taylor?

His tours go all over historic Annapolis and stop at the great houses.

His favorite places to talk about in Annapolis. The old senate chamber where the treaty of Paris was signed.

He loves talking about the Chase Loyd House.

He describes his colonial attire.

Squire Frederick was not without a lady on his arm.

Tells the kids not to take a bath because they will get a disease!

Oyez Oyez!

Speaks the news of the 18th Century in the 21st century he gives proclamations for special events.

Technology is Witchcraft!
