The Annapolis Podcast

Oct 24, 2015

This week's guest on The Annapolis Podcast is Gavin Buckley. (Photo Credit to Joe Heimbach of No Filter Photography (NoFilter Photography.net) Originally hailing from South Africa and Australia, Gavin literally sailed into City Dock in the 90's and hasn't looked back since. He is the owner of Tsunami, Lemongrass and Metropolitan Kitchen and Lounge, all on West Street. He hints on a couple new restaurants to come on West Street in Annapolis. When Gavin opened up Tsunami in the year 2000, West Street wasn't the safest of areas, now it has become a more vibrant arts district. In this episode, Gavin hints at throwing his hat into the ring for Annapolis politics. He talks about the arts scene in Annapolis back in the day, which included Jimi Hendrix, among others. And, of course, he talks about the controversial mural that is above his flagship restaurant Tsunami. Press play, enjoy, stay "in-the-know" and share this episode.
